Many New Jersey students – no matter their circumstances – do not fully understand what the world will require of them, whether they plan to go to college or join the workforce directly after high school.
With another school year in full swing, now is the time to consider how you, as a New Jersey business person, can help improve life outcomes for these students. You can help high school freshmen and sophomores understand what their employers will eventually expect of them and what they need to do now to get ready for life’s opportunities by volunteering just two hours of your time in schools convenient to your work or home location.
Thanks to a grant from the US Chamber of Commerce and in partnership with the New Jersey PTA, local chambers of commerce, and business associations, We Raise NJ is working with business leaders to help inspire students to become college and career ready. In Cape May County, our partner is the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce.
You are invited to attend a special meeting to learn more about this important opportunity and find out how you can become involved!
Breakfast will be served at 8:00am and the presentation will start at 8:30am and last for an hour.
