Virtual Lecture: New Jersey's Picatinny Arsenal

This presentation by Engineering Historian Jeff Ranu provides an overview of the history of Picatinny Arsenal from its founding as a Federal Government Installation in 1880 to the current mission of the DEVCOM Armaments Center. Situated in Morris County, New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal has supported the defense of the United States through engineering and technical expertise in the Research and Development of munitions and weapon systems. The Arsenal was also the home of the manufacturing of large caliber munitions through both World Wars, Korea, and Vietnam. This virtual lecture is free of charge.
